As of 20/04/2024, the mobilization of volunteers for community work for the Celebration of the Good Deeds Day Good Deeds Day in Eastern Burundi, in the province of Rutana, Musongati commune by local organizations guided by the Association for Social Assistance of Vulnerable Children (AASEC) NDIKABANDI located on Makakwe hill, Ngoma zone.in collaboration with Charité Sans Frontières "CSF' and Musongati Red Cross, the leaders of religious garments, the population of the Makakwe and Cero hills for an activity that consists of gathering the material for the construction of the bridge located on the 3km track traced by the community volunteers linking the RN8 Gitega-Rutana and these hills where the NARUKIRA Health Center built by AASEV volunteers is located in order to promote Mother and Child health. The work to be done requires the support of the government.
The activity also consisted of the planting of endogenous trees for the protection of the banks of the Kidimbagu River.
The initiator of the Day of Good Deed is businesswoman and philanthropist Shari Arison, who says, "I believe that if people think well, speak well, and do well, the circles of kindness will grow in the world." Millions of people around the world participate in thousands of projects and activities during the month of April and more specifically on April 14, 2024, the International Day of Good Deeds.
